Cheryl Cole is expected to file for divorce from her husband Ashley Cole "within weeks".
Friends of the 'Fight for This Love' singer - whose soccer player husband allegedly cheated on her with an unnamed blonde secretary - claim the 26-year-old pop beauty will leave him after growing "exhausted" by allegations of his infidelity.
One pal told the Daily Mail newspaper: "Cheryl is holding it together, she is extremely tough - don't forget she comes from a council estate in Newcastle, England, and is a fighter.
"She loves Ashley, he is the love of her life, but there is only so much she will take.
"Cheryl is exhausted with it all. There was a point when she was going to ride it all out, but she has heard rumours of more women and cannot face it. They will split within weeks."
This news comes shortly after a blonde office worker claimed she had slept with Ashley twice in 2008 after exchanging explicit pictures and text messages with the 29-year-old sportsman for weeks. Texts of a similar nature were also found on the phone of glamour model Sonia Wild.
If the couple - who wed in July 2006 - do divorce, Cheryl can expect to receive a large percentage of Ashley's wealth, because they didn't sign a prenuptial agreement.
A legal source said: "This is an unusual situation for a footballer as very few have wives with their own earnings. However, the discrepancy between their net worths means that Mrs Cole would have a very strong case for a significant claim over a large portion of his wealth, now and in the future."
Cheryl flew to Los Angeles yesterday (17.02.10) following her performance at the BRITs on Tuesday (16.02.10).
The Girls Aloud singer wasn't wearing her £160,000 engagement or wedding ring before her flight - but had a similar gold-coloured rock on in its place.
A source said: "Cheryl's most treasured possession is her diamond wedding ring. She is refusing to wear it. The fact she has replaced it with a decoy is a big two fingers up to Ashley. To onlookers it looks like she's a married woman - but to Ashley it's a clear sign that she feels their relationship is in big, big trouble."
Nicole Richie designed her own engagement ring.
The TV star - who revealed her betrothal to Good Charlotte rocker Joel Madden during an appearance on 'The Late Show With David Letterman' this week - worked with renowned celebrity jeweller Neil Lane on the band, which sports a flawless four carat, round diamond
.
Lane told People magazine: "We designed it together. Nicole was lovely and wonderful to work with on it! She wanted a beautiful, special ring and wanted to be intimately involved in the design."
The jeweller - who has previously created pieces for a host of stars, including Gwyneth Paltrow, Madonna, Nicole Kidman and Charlize Theron - also revealed Joel let his wife-to-be have complete control over the design.
He added: "Joel just wanted her to have her dream ring."
It was on Monday (15.02.10) that Nicole, 28, confirmed she is engaged to Joel - with whom she has two children, daughter Harlow, two, and five-month-old son Sparrow.
Joel, 30, later revealed his joy with a posting on his twitter page.
He tweeted: "Yep. I'm engaged. Very happy. Yeah we've been engaged for a while so you're all kind of late on that. But Thanks for the hooplah all the same. (sic)"
The couple are reportedly planning to marry this summer.
Courtney Love claims she was too poor to buy shoes.
The Hole singer says her new song 'Never Go Hungry' was written about her time of hardship when she and Frances Bean, her 17-year-old daughter with late husband Kurt Cobain, couldn't even afford to clothe themselves and couldn't get help from anyone.
Courtney - who has repeatedly claimed to have been defrauded of her wealth by various people - said: "I wrote 'Never Go Hungry' all by my lonesome, in rehab, sitting there f***ing in Orange County with a s**t guitar and no pick. It's about my daughter. And it's about how we were; they were just awful to us. We were just so broke.
"I vowed that we would never go hungry again, because we went hungry. I didn't have any f***ing shoes! I had a pair of Converse that they gave me. That's what I had. Frances didn't have any shoes. We had one pair of shoes."
The 45-year-old star claims she has lost her money because she has been "exploited" by so many people.
She added to Clash magazine: "Why did I have no money? The simple answer to that is because I'm a widow and because I'm a woman.
"I get exploited. Not when I'm playing music. But financially, very much so."
Jonathan Rhys Meyers thinks love is blind.
The actor - who portrays character James Reece, an aide to a US Ambassador in France and secret CIA agent, in upcoming action film 'From Paris with Love' - thinks it is easy to fall for someone without knowing much about them, just like his alter-ego does in the film.
He explained: "Well, you know, love is blind. Really, how much do you know about your partner?
"He knows that she makes dresses, he knows that she's into fabric, but he's a naive guy anyway. It's not like he's being specifically naive because she's so fantastically beautiful, yet it's jarring and that's why she's there. He'll go for her blindly because the beauty, the charm, the elegance, he's living in Paris. This is the dream.
"Would I fall for it in real life? Absolutely! 100 per cent! Hook, line and sinker."
The 32-year-old hunk is currently single, and most recently had a four year on/off relationship with Reena Hammer, the daughter of Ruby + Millie cosmetics founder Ruby Hammer.

Kate Moss has infuriated an upmarket department store with her demands for a designer smoking area.
The 36-year-old supermodel is launching her range of bags for Longchamp at Selfridges in London later this month and has reportedly astonished event organisers with her request as they fear she is more likely to use her promotional time socialising with her friends than trying to boost sales.
A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "It's Kate Moss - she can ask for what she likes and they'll probably bend over and give it to her.
"Longchamp are spending a fortune on the sponsorship deal to boost the label. But it'll look more of a promotion for brand Moss.
"The outside area is a bit of a problem. Her people want couches, cushions, tables, heaters and candles to make it comfy for her to have a cigarette.
"But she's only due to be there for an hour. They don't want to pay out lots for her to mingle with selected guests, only for her to hide in her VIP room drinking champagne with her pals."
Kate - who is dating The Kills rocker Jamie Hince - is famed for her love of smoking and it has previously been claimed that she makes her personal assistant leave a packet of her favourite Marlboro Lights on every table in her home before she goes to bed.
A source said: "Kate has five coffee tables
spread between her living room, kitchen, office and bedroom so that's a lot of cigarettes.
"She also has a special tennis ball with holes for cigarettes to stick out from so visitors can relax with a smoke."
Alex Reid's parents didn't know he was marrying Katie Price.
The cage-fighter's mother Carol and father Bob are thrilled their 34-year-old son jetted to Las Vegas to marry the former glamour model on Tuesday (02.02.10) - even though they only found out about the nuptials following a late night telephone call.
Carol, 69, told the Daily Star newspaper: "We had no idea but we're so happy for him. This is what he has always wanted. He called in the middle of the night and I spoke to both of them. They were really, really happy. There is no disappointment for us about not being there, we are just genuinely pleased for them."
Bob, 71, added: "This is magical for him."
Katie, 31, and Alex were married at the Wynn Hotel on Tuesday afternoon (02.02.10), before spending their wedding night at a strip club with friends. They claimed they hadn't signed a magazine deal because their union was based solely on their love for each other.
However, it has been revealed their "secret" ceremony was actually being recorded by two camera crews, who were capturing footage for her ITV reality show.
As well as filming the ceremony, it is believed the crew also attended the pair's raunchy wedding party at the Spearment Rhino strip club afterwards.
The newlyweds and crew were joined in the club's private room by her best friends, Gary Cockerill and Phil Turner - who gave Katie away during their $635 ceremony - her agent Diane Colburt and Alex's best man, fellow cage-fighter Josh Hathaway, 22.
During the alcohol-fuelled evening, the group are believed to have spent over $31,750 - most of which was their bill for champagne.
At one point, the outspoken model is said to shouted: "We're Mr. and Mrs. Reid, the haters are going to love this. This will show them."
The pair were reportedly intoxicated as they watched the exotic dancers strip and perform in the private area. The group was later spotted leaving the Sapphire Gentlemen's Club, after spending four hours in the club's private room called The Skybox - which costs $1,000 an hour, and showcases their best dancers.
One club source said: "All sorts of stuff goes up in The Skybox. That's where you get the best treatment. Anything can happen in The Skybox - the girls really let go."
Paris Hilton
didn't notice she had been burgled for two months.
The socialite was targeted by the 'Bling Ring Gang' - a group of teenagers, who targeted the homes of the rich and famous - who stole her house keys from under her doormat outside her Los Angeles property but didn't realise until much later when the gang made a return raid, and making off with £1.2million worth of jewellery and valuables.
Nick Prugo - who has since been arrested for his involvement in robbing celebrities
- said Paris had been their first target because they felt she was "dumb".
He said: "Like, who would leave a door unlocked? Who would leave a lot of money lying around? Stupid."
He said they had got into the Hollywood Hills home, in a gated community, with a key they had found under a mat. He also claimed to have found five grams of cocaine in Paris' house which he had also taken.
The 'Bling Ring Gang' - made up of five teenagers and a man in his 20s - also stole from the homes of actor Orlando Bloom, actress Rachel Bilson and reality TV star Audrina Partridge; but were caught last November when CCTV footage of a break-in at Lindsay Lohan's house was released.
Police were tipped off about the identities of the gang, who were then arrested. They are said to have amassed a haul worth an estimated £2million in clothes, jewellery, art and cash.
Nick, 18, an aspiring actor who made a full confession when he was caught, said: "There was a definite thrill to it.
"I don't think any of us realised how severe it was until we actually got caught. It didn't seem as bad as it was.
"Now that I look back I realise how serious it was. Looking back, it scares me to death."
He faces up to six years in prison for each burglary. The alleged ringleader of the group, Rachel Lee, 18, has also been arrested, as have gang members Courtney Ames, 18; Alexis Neiers, 18, Diana Tamayo, 19, and Roy Lopez Jr, 27.
Victoria Beckham loves
being a school dinner lady.
The former Spice Girl-turned-fashion designer is a regular visitor to the schools of her three sons - Brooklyn, ten, Romeo, seven, and four-year-old Cruz - and enjoys helping out whenever she can.
Victoria - who lives in Los Angeles with her soccer star husband David and the three boys - said: "I travel a fair amount, and when I'm here in Los Angeles, everything revolves around the kids. So if I'm not working, I go to the school and help serve lunches to the children.
"They just love that. It's like, Oh, there's mummy serving me!' The other day I was there, I was reading to Cruz's class. All the little girls were saying, 'We really like your dress.' And it was quite cute because I don't have a girl."
As well as being a devoted wife and mother, the 35-year-old brunette says fashion plays a huge part in her life and she knows how to make the best of herself.
She said in an interview with America's Glamour magazine: "I love fashion, and that's how I express myself. I think about what I'm going to wear before I go to bed at night.
"When I dress in a certain way and do my hair and make-up in a certain way, it's not to get attention. I'm not a supermodel. I make the best of what I've got. I work out to look the best that I can, but I'm no Gisele."
Kim Kardashian has denied claims she has had a nose job
.
The 29-year-old socialite - who recently embarked on a new healthy eating and fitness regime after unflattering photos of her appeared on the internet - insists the rumours she has gone under the knife are false.
She said: "There was this thing on the cover of a magazine in the States saying that I'd had my nose done, but that's probably one of my biggest insecurities and what I'd want done. It's all made up."
However, the brunette beauty wouldn't rule out having cosmetic surgery
in the future if she felt she needed it.
She said: "Maybe one day I'll have something done. I don't think I'm the type to say no, but I haven't had butt or cheek implants like lots of people are saying."
Kim recently spoke out to deny she wore butt-boosting pads to increase her famous derriere at a Miami party.
She said: "It was a beautiful and elegant event and I chose this gorgeous black and white dress by Rami Kashou. But sorry to disappoint you, no butt pads here! That dress was so tight, butt pads wouldn't have even fit!"
Leighton Meester "f**king loves love".
The actress-turned-singer likes nothing more than falling head-over-heels for someone, even though she admits she is a "cautious" partner.
The 23-year-old beauty's recent track with Robin Thicke begins, "Is there somebody who still believes in love?" which, she admits, she does.
She explained: "I love love. I f**king love love. What's weird is that, from a certain point of view, that song could be about someone who's jaded, but it could also be someone who has every hope in the world. I think that I'm a little bit of both. I'm very cautious, but I still throw my heart into it."
However, the 'Gossip Girl' star - who is dating her TV co-star Sebastian Stan - doesn't want anyone to take her song lyrics literally.
She explained to Britain's InStyle magazine: "I would never want anybody to associate my lyrics with how I am at this moment, because I draw from experiences that aren't necessarily current. I love to say I live in the moment, but I have a past."
Leighton is also not ashamed to admit she can be quite a "selfish, insensitive" lover.
She explained: "I can be selfish sometimes, that's one of my flaws. In love I am selfish, insensitive, but I think love is complicated, more complicated than I'd like it to be. But maybe I'm just complicated."
Brian McFadden will tie the knot with Delta Goodrem this year - but only if they can find a date which doesn't clash with the soccer World Cup.
The former Westlife star - who proposed to the former 'Neighbours' actress three years ago, a year after he divorced Kerry Katona - is ready to walk down the aisle but has revealed the couple are struggling to find a suitable date which doesn't clash with the summer tournament taking place in South Africa.
Sports mad Brian, 29, said: "We're trying to work out a date between the World Cup and the end of the Formula 1 season. It's messing all my plans up... I was going to produce another album but I won't get any work done with both events going on."
Delta - who was recently spotted meeting Britain's Prince William during his tour of Sydney - is fortunately a "huge sports fan" so has been understanding to Brian's wishes.
The Australian actress-turned-singer - who was first rumoured to marry
Brian in December 2009 - said: "I would love to go to the World Cup."
Ben Affleck wooed Jennifer Garner through email.
The 'Juno' actress - who married her actor husband in June 2005 - has admits the Hollywood
heartthrob won her over through the internet because he has such a good way with words.
She said: "It helped that we were both single at the time. He's a very good writer."
When asked if he wrote her love letters, she said: "Don't make assumptions. I didn't say that! Okay... e-mail. He's a very persuasive writer."
The 37-year-old beauty - who is previously divorced from actor Scott Foley - said the secret to their relationship was that they were friends before, and knew how to be "goofy" with one another.
She added to Parade magazine: "Ben is sexy and kind, but he's also a riot. We can be very goofy together. He doesn't have trouble wiggling his way in anywhere. Ben is charm personified when he wants to be. He's not easily threatened or made uncomfortable - he's very secure in that way.
"Maybe he just knows I'm nuts about him, and he doesn't have anything to worry about. Don't forget we were friends first for a long time."
Cher spends $2,500-a-week on a "wellness
crew".
The 63-year-old star is spending the huge amount on facials and specialist treatments including LED light therapy and oxygen infusion techniques, to maintain her youthful appearance on the set of her new movie 'Burlesque'.
A source told the National Enquirer magazine: "Cher also has a spiritual adviser, homeopath and naturopath on standby to keep her mentally and physically centred.
"She calls them her 'wellness crew' - and they set her back another $20,000 over the course of a movie shoot."
Explaining some of the treatments, Marilyn Martinis, a clinical aesthetician at the Beverly Hills Institute of Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery, said the LED light therapy would give the star's skin a more youthful, tones look.
She said: "The LED treatments use a pulse light to treat dark pigmentation and improve the appearance of small blood vessels in the skin.
"The micro-current treatments stimulate facial muscles and temporarily tighten the face by using a galvanizing current."
Cher has previously described herself as the "poster girl" of cosmetic surgery
.
Mel Gibson
is worried the fun has gone out of his life.
The 54-year-old actor - who has a two-month-old daughter Lucia with girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva - fears his life has got boring as he's grown older because he's tried to get healthy and been forced to stop doing some of his favourite things, like smoking.
He said: "I try and eat right but I don't work out much. I quit smoking so that's something in the right direction. I just don't do anything fun anymore. But that's dying, isn't it? You die in stages. You let things go in pieces. It's more than halfway through, right? Life's experiences, whether they be pleasant, unpleasant, torturous or excruciatingly wonderful and blissful, season you somehow and hopefully you learn from them. Isn't that what it's all about?"
Mel has seven children with his estranged wife Robyn Moore, and the eldest, Hannah is aged 29.
However, the actor's amazement at fatherhood hasn't changed over the years.
He explained: "I don't think I'll ever be able to get over the fact that there is a little life there in front of me staring at you with complete innocence and total angelic blamelessness. So we'll see if I can do it better this time.
"I think I'm a lot better because maturity brings things out. I just wish I had that youthful spring again. But it's a trade-off, right?"
Miley Cyrus is ready for marriage.
The 17-year-old star - who recently denied she is engaged to actor Liam Hemsworth after she was pictured wearing a ring on her engagement finger - has been joking to pals about the possibility of changing her name to match her 18-year-old boyfriend's
.
A source said: "Miley's crazy in love with Liam, and keeps joking that Miley Hemsworth sounds so fancy and sophisticated.
"She says she can't wait to turn 18 this year so she could do whatever she wants - even marry Liam - and no one can stop her."
The 'Party in the USA' singer, whose father is 'Achy Breaky Heart' hitmaker Billy Ray Cyrus, has reportedly told her record company that she now wants to take a career break to spend more time with Liam.
The source claimed she told her record company: "I just want to enjoy my life for a while."
However, her father is warning her not to take too much time off, as she may get forgotten by the public.
He is reported to have told her: "You're only a big star for a brief amount of time, and when it's over, it's over."
Lily Allen wants to have a baby.
The 'Not Fair' singer - who recently announced plans to take an indefinite break from music to pursue her interests in fashion - let slip that she and boyfriend Sam Cooper's desire to start a family is the real reason for her planned hiatus.
She told fans at Australia's Big Day Out festival in Brisbane: "I want to have a baby. I'm not saying I'm pregnant now. Shut up, Lily. Shut up, Lily. That's the sort of stuff that gets me into trouble I suppose."
Lily - who was left devastated after suffering a miscarriage with then-boyfriend Ed Simons' baby in January 2008 - recently spoke about her desire to settle down outside of London and live a quiet life with her builder boyfriend, who she started dating last summer.
She admitted recently: "I just want to have babies and live in the countryside, that's my goal really.
"I'm not a careerist, what I really want is to be a mum. I am driven, but that drive goes as far as keeping a roof over my head and having a routine.
"I have been in a relationship for six or seven months now and its going really well, so why not?"
Despite their intentions, Lily recently denied speculation she and Sam are engaged.
Kate Winslet was "over-exposed" last year.
The actress - who picked up an Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in 'The Reader' and two Golden Globes for her performances in 'The Reader' and 'Revolutionary Road' respectively in 2009 - decided to take some time out so people wouldn't get tired of her.
She told the Daily Mail newspaper: "I was in hiding a little bit, just doing family stuff and very little work.
"To be honest, I felt so over-exposed this time last year with the Golden Globes and the Oscar. It was fantastic and everything, but I was sick of me, let alone what other people must have felt."
However, Kate is ready to get back to work and presented an award at the Golden Globes ceremony last Sunday (17.01.10) and will do the same at the Academy Awards in March.
Discussing her upcoming projects, Kate is shooting a mini-series for US TV channel HBO based on the James M. Cain novel 'Mildred Pierce'.
She revealed: "We're doing it from the book, not the film version with Joan Crawford.
"It's such a deliciously meaty role and we cover a lot of ground, with Mildred raising her two girls during the Depression era. She runs her own business and, of course, there are men. And because it's a mini-series for HBO we can really explore the characters and go into the kind of things you could only hint at when the film was made in 1945."
Jennifer Garner went to therapy after her divorce
.
The 37-year-old actress realised she needed help following her split from actor Scott Foley in 2003 because she couldn't express her real feelings.
She said: "I had a lot of growing up to do.
"I don't like to argue. But back then, I couldn't have a fight. I couldn't work things out because I wasn't able to say what I needed to say. It was a huge heartbreak for me. So I went to work on it. I started therapy."
Jennifer is now happily married to Ben Affleck - with who she has two daughters, Violet, four, and 12-month-old Seraphina - and the couple make sure they spend time together without the children to keep the romance alive.
She explained to Parade magazine: "You steal the time. You steal a date, you steal a kiss, you steal a whisper. After the kids are asleep you... well, you know. Whatever it is. You slip away for a night."
The 'Juno' star also admits she sometimes struggles with being a working mother.
She said: "I hate to miss even one bedtime with my girls. I understand that being an actress as well as being at home isn't some heroic thing. That doesn't mean it isn't confusing or difficult - especially that question of how you find a balance."
Ryan Gosling's new film is so sexy he thinks it should be classed as an "erotic thriller".
The 29-year-old actor has revealed his upcoming movie 'Blue Valentine' - in which he stars alongside 'Brokeback Mountain' actress Michelle Williams - contains sex scenes which are as steamy as anything filmgoers have seen before.
He said: "I've heard the film described as a portrait of love falling apart, but I think they should call it an 'erotic thriller'. That sounds way more fun. Sex is a really important character in the film."
In the upcoming drama, the pair play a married couple who are trying to halt the breakdown of their relationship by remembering the early days of their romance.
Although the movie does contain lovemaking scenes, the Canadian actor insists it is integral to the storyline and is not used gratuitously.
He added: "Sex is a bone of contention in the present and a dialogue of their love in the past."
Dame Helen Mirren has admitted her tattoo was a drunken mistake.
The 64-year-old actress claimed she got the small piece of body art on her hand as an act of rebellion when she was younger.
She said: "I was very, very drunk. It was a very, very long time ago, when only sailors and Hell's Angels were tattooed, honestly, and prisoners.
"I decided to get a tattoo because it was the most shocking thing I could think of doing."
The 'Queen' star no longer likes the tattoo because everywhere she goes she sees people with inkings
She told US TV show 'Good Morning America': "Now I'm utterly disgusted and shocked because it's become completely mainstream, which is unacceptable to me."
Meanwhile, Helen is set to escape the mainstream with a possible role as a foul-mouthed medieval monarch in Quentin Tarantino's new film.
A source said: "It will feature his trademarks - bloody violence and foul language. Helen has never worked with Tarantino and is interested. If the film goes into production it's likely she will play a part."
